"Why," you may ask, "are you posting a picture of the Bugaloos car in your blog?"
Well, there's a couple of reasons for that. Chief among them is that this car was designed by the same guy who designed the Batmobile (i.e. coolest car ever created), George Barris (and there'll be at least one more of his customized cars posted here sometime in the near future).
A second reason is that the Bugaloos have been featured in comics (a while back I posted the cover for the first issue of Charlton's adaptation, which if you didn't see the post, follow the label link to check it out.
And the third reason is, since this was one of Sid and Marty Krofft's follow-up series to H.R. Pufnstuff, making it part of Saturday morning history... well, you just know that it was a part of my childhood!
And if you want to read up on the World of Krofft, I recommend the book "Pufnstuf and Other Stuff." It's good stuff!
